For the majority of my artwork, I use a combination of traditional and digital processes. After sketching a piece digitally and receiving approval from the client, I then print out the sketch and line traditionally with a 0.3 mechanical pencil. Depending on the piece, the size can range from 8.5x11, 9x12, or 11x14.
For grunge portraits, I do a series of graphite detailing layers on separate tracing paper sheets which will later be scanned in and compiled onto one canvas.
